Christmas and New Years in Sydney is a time of year when things get busy and the term 'silly season'things get a little crazy gets used frequently. That's why at Brado's we try to make this time a little less crazy and a lot more fun! We've planned an itinerary to help make things easy for our guests and we're doing most of it together so you won't be alone.

What's Included? - FREE

Unlike most Sydney Hostels who offer aditional activities at an extra cost, Brado's is one Sydney Hostel that is giving you some of Sydney's best activities without paying any extra. There are some extra activities you can do on your free days that you may have to pay for but the best ones we've added to our accommodation package. Take a look below...

Sydney Harbour Christmas Eve Cruise - [normaly $85] FREE

Cruise Sydney HarbourPort Jackson actually with all the cool kids on Sydney's best harbour cruise presented by Oz Party. It's an 'all inclusive' cruise, that means you don't need to pay for drinks or food onboard, just prepare your best Christmas Fancy Dress costume and come aboard for a night to remember, or atleast try to remember...

Blue Mountains Day Trip - [normaly $90] FREE

Join us for a trip to one of the east coasts 'must do' locations, the Blue Mountains. We'll take you on a guided day trip to see this stunning mountain range at the foot of Sydney's Western Suburbs. We'll show you all the popular tourist stops, take a ride on the worlds steepest fanicular railwaycable driven railway at Scenic World, show you the 3 sisters plus a guided walk down into the Jamison Valley with waterfalls and prehistoric vegetation.

Welcome BBQ - FREE

Join us for our welcome barbeque where we will meet and greet everyone and let you know what will be happening over the 14 days. It's a great chance to socialise and make new friends with the people you'll be hanging out with during your stay.

Guided Walks - FREE

While some Sydney Hostels offer free guides and mapsprinted guides and maps that advertisers give to all hostels, at Brado's we will actually take you on a walk with Brado's own guides to show you this amazing city and it's best spots. We can do this for our guests because the owners are actually former tour guides with over 7 years experience at showing backpackers around Australia.

Whe have 3 guided walks:

1. Sydney City Sights | Sydney Intro - 22nd December

Follow your guide on a walk that will take you through the botanical gardens, to the Opera House and up to and onto the Sydney Harbour Bridge where for $9.50 you can climb the south east pilon.

2. Bondi to Coogee - 23rd December

After a quick ride on our own private bus, we'll spend a couple of hours at Bondi Beach where you can grab some lunch, go for a swim or check out where you might want to spend Christmas Day before we head off on a guided walk along one of Sydney's best coastal walks. Following the coastal walking track to Coogee you'll see some of the beautiful Sydney Beaches and the stunning coastline. The walk takes a couple of hours and after walking all that way we'll stop for a beer at Coogee Palace where you can hang out and take in the stunning views of Coogee Bay.

3. Watsons Bay | Sydney Harbour Entrance - 30th December

On this walk we will take you to the entrance of Sydney Harbour to a gorgeous Sydney location Watsons Bay, famous for the scenery, the coastal cliffs and the number one place for fish and chips.

*Prices are in Australian Dolars per night and may vary without notice, please check out our online booking for current prices. Christmas and New Years 14 night minimum stay period rates are higher than normal seasonal rates. All guests wishing to stay at Brado's must book and pay for all 14 nights from 20/12/11 to 3/1/12. All bookings must be paid in full by December 1st 2011.

Ensuite Rooms

Ensuite rooms have a shower and toilet attached to the room, rooms without use the shared foyer bathrooms.

Free Breakfast

Continental Breakfast is available from 7:30am - 10am every day at reception.

Free Tea and Coffee

We have free tea and coffee available all day in reception during office hours.
